The Memon people are divided into several sub-groups based on their geographic origins in Gujarat and Sindh. Each carries its own dialect, culinary traditions, and cultural flavour — yet all share the same core Memon values.
Kutchi Memons
Origin: Kutch, Gujarat
One of the largest sub-groups, with roots in the Kutch district of Gujarat. A major presence in Karachi, Mumbai, and across East Africa and the UK.
